Duty Description: Served as a Senior Wheeled Mechanic in a Forward Support Company in support of a Field Artillery Battalion in a Heavy Brigade Combat Team; provided technical guidance to subordinates performing field and sustainment maintenance on 274 pieces of wheeled, material handling and ground support equipment; established priorities, work schedules, supervised work flow, and monitors repair procedures; determined serviceability and disposition of defective assemblies and subassemblies; responsible for the accountability and preservation of MTOE property valued in excess of $250,000.

Duty Description: Supervises and performs unit, direct and general support maintenance on construction equipment which includes that used for earthmoving, grading, and compaction; lifting and loading; quarrying and rock crushing; asphalt and concrete mixing, and surfacing; water pumping; air compression equipment; performs troubleshooting of engines, power trains, fuel and electrical systems, hydraulic systems, earth-moving components, and pneumatic equipment; supervises lower grade Soldiers and provides technical guidance to the Soldiers in the accomplishment of their duties.


63D Artillery Mechanic

Principle Duty Title: Artillery Mechanic Supervisor

Duty MOSC: 63D4O

Duty Description: Served as an Artillery Mechanic Supervisor of a Maintenance Support Team in support of a Field Artillery Battalion; responsible for the supervision of two level maintenance on 8 Paladins and 8 Field Artillery Ammunition Supply Vehicles, 25 wheeled and one track recovery vehicle; performs initial and final inspections on all combat equipment and fire control systems; employs applicable testing and diagnostic procedures in accordance with appropriate technical manuals; responsible for the accountability and maintenance of over $30M worth of vehicles and MTOE property; responsible for the health, welfare and training of five NCOs and seven Soldiers.

Duty Description: Served as a Senior Track Mechanic in a Forward Support Company in support of a Field Artillery Battalion; provided technical guidance to subordinates performing two-level maintenance on track and recovery equipment; established priorities, supervised work flow, and monitored repair procedures; determined serviceability and disposition of defective assemblies; responsible for the supervision and planning of all recovery operations; responsible for the health, welfare, and training of three NCOs and nine soldiers; responsible for vehicles, tools and equipment valued at over $200, 000.


63X Maintenance Supervisor

Duty Description: Platoon Sergeant for a Brigade Support Battalion Maintenance Company within the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault); primary assistant and advisor to the platoon leader; coordinates maintenance and logistical requirements; executes the support mission in concert with the concept of support and operations order; responsible for training on weapons, squad and platoon tactics, and convoy defense; responsible for the health, welfare, morale, and discipline of 88 soldiers; responsible for the accountability and readiness of 60 vehicles, 21 trailers, and eight power generators valued at over $750,000.00.

Duty Description: Served as the Maintenance Control Supervisor for a Forward Support Company in support of a Field Artillery Battalion; responsible for overseeing the maintenance program for a Forward Support Company and its supported Field Artillery Battalion, consisting of over 600 diverse reportable items containing 16 pacing items; managed the STAMIS Systems (ULLS-G and SAMS-1) within the company; coordinate logistical support with Army Level support agencies; responsible for the overall supervision of 25 NCOs and 42 Soldiers; managed over 400 lines of Class IX repair parts and accounted for over $400,000 worth of equipment and tools.
