Duty Description: Performs duties as Senior OR/CMS NCO for a Level III Combat Support Hospital forward deployed in support of OIF XX-XX; assists in the management of a five bed multi-disciplinary surgical suite averaging 350 cases monthly; directs 26 enlisted personnel; maintains proper environment of care and infection control standards for scheduled and emergency surgeries; enforces established SOP's; prepares patients and operating room suites and assists with surgical procedures; triages trauma patients with the emergency room; manages supply utilization; plans time schedules, advises Chief of Surgery, Head Nurse, and Anesthesia Department on operational issues.

Duty Description: Serves as the Platoon Sergeant and Senior Operating Room NCO for a 248-bed Combat Support Hospital in support of  XVIII Airborne Corps and worldwide contingency operations; responsible for the mentorship, counseling and professional development of 17 Soldiers; responsible for the functional readiness of equipment valued in excess of five million dollars; supervises the set-up of the Deployable Medical System (DEPMEDS) Operating Room (OR) and Central Material Services (CMS); maintains, updates, and enforces Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); trains and integrates Professional Filler System (PROFIS) Soldiers.

Duty Description: Medical Platoon Sergeant for a Reconnaissance, Surveillance, and Target Acquisition Squadron; responsible for the training, discipline, safety, morale, and welfare of 23 Soldiers and the professional development of 7 NCO's; responsible for the medical sustainment of combat operations as well as the health care of 400 Soldiers; responsible for maintaining accountability and serviceability of equipment and class VIII supplies valued in excess of $1,000,000, and one Front Line Ambulance valued in excess of $500,000; provides instructions in all common and medical skills and ensures strict adherence of safety procedures during training.

Duty Description: Serves as the Detachment Sergeant for a Forward Surgical Team (FST) providing Echelon II and III combat health support for Coalition Forces Land Component Command (CFLCC) in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) XX-XX; assists in planning future operations and employment of the FST; responsible for training, mentorship and welfare of a 20 person Team; supervises seven NCOs and seven junior enlisted Soldiers; ensures medical resupply; provides administrative, logistical, and tactical operations; coordinates the training of assigned PROFIS personnel; accounts for and maintains for equipment and supplies valued in excess of $830,000.

Duty Description: Serves as Wardmaster for two 12-bed Intensive Care Units (ICU) in a 248-bed Combat Support Hospital in support of XVIII Airborne Corps and worldwide contingency operations; provides and supervises care to critically ill and injured patients of all ages; responsible for maintaining accountability, maintenance and serviceability of $600,000 worth of Deployable Medical System (DEPMEDS) equipment and supplies; responsible for the training, counseling, health and welfare of 12 Soldiers; responsible for integrating newly assigned and Professional Filler System (PROFIS) Soldiers.

Duty Description: Serves as the Operations NCOIC for a XX-bed split of a XX-bed Combat Support Hospital deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom; receives, publishes, and disseminates plans, orders, and reports; maintains personnel and equipment status; enforces all Tactical Operation Center (TOC) rules and policies; ensures internal and external security for classified information and materials; coordinates information flow to higher headquarters and one subordinate unit; responsible for coordination of all air movement of Task Force Soldiers within theater; responsible for leadership counseling, and accountability of four Soldiers.

Duty Description: Principal advisor to the Deputy Chief of Nursing of a deployed XX-bed Combat Support Hospital in support of OIF XX-XX; oversees all enlisted medical education activities; assists in the daily functioning of the clinical operations of the hospital; advises the Commander of the availability and serviceability of medical equipment and Class VIII supplies; monitors the Medical Protection System (MEDPROS) for 475 assigned and attached Soldiers; directs military occupational specialty (MOS) and medical proficiency and sustainment training for more than 150 health care specialists (68W); provides guidance and mentorship to 20 hospital section NCOICs.

Duty Description: Serves as a First Sergeant for a 16-bed slice of a 90-bed Combat Support Hospital deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom XX-XX; principle advisor to the commander for health, morale, welfare, and safety of assigned personnel; provides leadership and guidance to 160 assigned, Professional Filler System (PROFIS) and attached Soldiers in the medical task force; responsible for task force formations, instructing and development of seven platoon and section sergeants and assisting with the training of all enlisted Soldiers; ensures that all Soldiers are mission focused and ready at all times.

Duty Description: Serves as the First Sergeant for Medical Task Force, deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom XX-XX; responsible for the health and welfare of 377 officers and enlisted Soldiers in a combat environment; responsible for performing duties as the task force Sergeant Major in his absence; serves as advisor on enlisted issue to the commander and makes critical decisions in the absence of the commander; responsible for assisting in coordinating and sustaining MWR activities for Soldiers and visitors of the hospital; responsible for conducting NCO/Soldier of the Month Boards; responsible for $500K worth of equipment during deployment and redeployment.
