Duty Description: Serves as a senior vehicle operator; oversees and assists in operation of vehicles over varied terrain in support of garrison and combat operations; manages loading and unloading of personnel and equipment and protects cargo against damage; performs vehicle self-recovery and field expedients to include towing; assists in training and maintaining driver skills for drivers; checks to ensure PMCS is completed by drivers while on missions and during command maintenance; corrects or reports all vehicle deficiencies; responsible for the welfare of five Soldiers.

Principle Duty Title: Squad Leader

Duty MOSC: 88M3O

Duty Description: Operates in the truck terminal as a squad leader; supervises drivers performing preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on vehicles; trains new drivers and manages the driver sustainment training program; plans, organizes, and operates a motor vehicle convoy; performs convoy route reconnaissance; commands a convoy march unit or serial; supervises transporting of all types of cargo; posts and controls guards used to prevent pilferage and vandalism of cargo and equipment; takes charge of vehicle recovery; supervises personnel preparing vehicles for deployment; responsible for two NCOs and 8 Soldiers with equipment valued at over $1.36 million.

Principle Duty Title: Chief Movement Supervisor

Duty MOSC: 88N40

Duty Description: Serves as the 44th Medical Command Chief Movement Supervisor; responsible for synchronizing the movement plans for 37 subordinate units dispersed across seven installations; advises the DCSLOG on all transportation issues to include external support requirements, TC-AIMS II utilization, in-transit visibility, and container management; facilitates all transportation support requirements for 37 separate ARFORGEN cycles in support of global operations to include Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and CBRNE Consequence Management Reaction Force.
